Today in Primary 5 we had Wenda from the LMC (Livestock and Meat Commission) team to give us a cookery demonstration. Wenda highlighted the role and nutritional benefits of red meat as part of a healthy, balanced diet and told the pupils of the importance of the Northern Ireland Farm Quality Assured (NIFQA) logo. We thoroughly enjoyed discussing the journey of each ingredient from farm to fork as Wenda added them to the meatball meal. Our favourite part was tasting the beautiful food. Thank you Wenda!
