The P5 class had an excellent day out of school as we enjoyed our educational visit to the Ulster Museum. On arrival we went straight into a workshop where we found out lots of interesting facts about the Ancient Egyptians. We also had the opportunity to experience what it might have been like as various tradespersons in Ancient Egypt. After lunch we headed straight to the Ancient Egypt display in the museum, where along with seeing lots more artefacts we got to admire the real mummy called Takabuti. There was also time to visit many other displays throughout the museum. Before getting onto the coach to come home, there was time to run off some energy in The Botanic Gardens. A great day out!
