We had so much fun today discovering how salt can melt ice! We sprinkled some salt onto the ice and watched how it cracked and melted. Then, we added some red and blue food colouring (as today was the Jubilee Jamboree!) to watch how the cracks formed through the ice. This showed us how salt and grit melts ice in the winter time.
