P1 have had a wonderful afternoon exploring clay. We began by splatting, rolling, pinching and pushing the clay to music, which will help our finger muscles! Then we talked about spiders and what they look like. Spiders have 8 legs and their body looks like a ball! The children had a wonderful time making their own Incey Wincey and singing the Nursery Rhyme. Finally, we watched a video about clay and where it comes from. What a fun afternoon! 🕷 🤚🏼
