P1 have been learning about a new 3D shape…the cone! This morning we made Christmas tree cones using ice-cream cones, chocolate, food colouring and sprinkles. We counted the number of chocolate bars used, talked about how chocolate goes runny after it is heated, counted the number of bun cases, used our smelling noses to smell the chocolate and so much more! Take a look at our method below.
Method:
- Wash your hands.
- Break the chocolate.
- Melt the chocolate.
- Add 8 drops of green food colouring and stir.
- Spoon some chocolate over your cone and add sprinkles.
- The best part…eat your tree!
