As part of our topic ‘People Who Help Us’, P1/2 enjoyed a visit from the firefighters who work in the Ballymena fire station. They told us all about how we can stay safe in a fire and the importance of a smoke alarm. They also showed us their uniform. Mrs McCombe even tried it on for size!!! Then we all got to sit in the fire engine and use the hose! What a treat!! Have a look at the fun we had.
