We had a fantastic first day at Curious Cubs. Today we focused on ‘Amazing Ants’ and how we can look after even the smallest mini-beasts in our gardens. We started with a discussion about what an ant looks like and how they travel before our group challenge time. Each team had to build a bridge for their ant to cross the river.
We spent time using magnifying glasses investigating the ground for mini beasts and the best natural resources we could use. After construction time we rested and enjoyed the story ‘Hey Little Ant’ before drawing our own ants using chalk!
