Carniny entered a couple of teams into the local ‘Ballymena Cricket Club Primary School Tournament’ hosted at Ballymena Academy.
The teams ended up winning 2 games each and finishing 4th & 5th respectively. A great result as most had never had any previous experience with cricket, certainly in a match scenario!
Thanks to Peter Bristow, Ballymena Cricket Club Youth section and the NCU for helping organise and umpire the games.
I’m sure the kids could think of worse Fridays!
