Big Wheelie Challenge Part 2

This afternoon P6 carried out the next stage of the ‘Big Wheelie Challenge’! We selected 5 bins from different areas of the school and sorted the rubbish into 3 categories of Mixed Dry Recyclables, Compostable Food and Non-Reccyclables. After, we weighed each pile and collected a total. It was surprising to see how much waste can be put into one bin throughout the day. Our eco-committee are on a mission to reduce waste in Carniny and so promote recycling and reusing! 🌍 🗑 🍊
