If you are visiting our website from another school please leave a message on our Blog Carniny Primary is a warm and friendly school situated on the outskirts of Ballymena. We have 260 pupils with eleven teaching staff and seven classroom assistants. The School curriculum includes English, Mathematics, Science & Technology, Religious Education, History, Geography, Art & Design, Music and Physical Education We have begun to embrace the Revised Curriculum. Our academic record is impressive. Between 70-80 % of our pupils gain Grammar school places each year. We place a strong emphasis on the Personal Development of all our pupils. They are encouraged to participate in field and residential trips and to become involved with the wider community. We offer a wide range of extra curricular activities for senior pupils including, Orchestra, Recorder Group, Drama, Golf, Cycling Proficiency, Soccer, Netball, Hockey, Basketball, Mini Rugby, Swimming, Languages and Art & Crafts |
